Case Study: Herteas. Packaging Design for Herbal Tea Brand

Graphic design project inspired by the calming, energizing, and inspiring power of good tea. Check visual identity and packaging design for the brand of herbal teas.

In this case study, we invite you to check up on the graphic design project inspired by the calming, energizing, and inspiring power of good tea. Here, our team worked on the packaging design developed for the brand of herbal teas with custom illustration patterns.

The project was accomplished by tubik designers Arthur Avakyan and Yaroslava Yatsuba, with art direction by Sergii Valiukh.

The design process for the pack of branding and marketing graphics for this project included the following creative tasks:

  • logo design and brand color palette
  • a consistent set of botanical theme illustrations and graphic elements
  • packaging design for different tastes of tea and types of packaging
  • design for marketing visuals and branded items

The primary idea the brand shares is that it shares a feeling of a healthy life taken from nature and a solid touch to organic natural ingredients. The creative team worked on the general approach to the brand visual style concept and the packaging design set. The final logo design is a neat combination mark with an elegant line symbol and the readable brand name typographic part.

All types of branded packaging are built around original 2D illustrations that feature diverse herbs and flowers added to particular tea tastes. The bright botanical graphic elements are combined into eye-pleasing patterns, which create stylish visual contrast with a trim, readable logo and typography. Each pattern looks unique and quickly sets the connection to the particular type of taste and smell of the tea. At the same time, together, the patterns and packaging designs are combined into one united and consistent design system, allowing buyers to recognize the products easily on the shelves of shops and supermarkets or in the diversity of online offers.

Take a closer look at the original artistic graphic patterns, tea boxes, and tea pouches design.
